Gifford continues to pursue her dreams as an actress, singer, songwriter, playwright, producer, and most recently, director. She has authored numerous books, including her most recent children’s book, The Gift That I Can Give, and four New York Times bestselling books, including The Rock, the Road, and the Rabbi.
When Julia Seal was five years old, she decided she was going to work either in a shoe shop or draw pictures for a living. Luckily, many years later she graduated with a degree in graphic design and illustration. After working in the greetings-card industry and getting covered in glitter every day, she moved on to her dream job illustrating children's books. She now lives in a small village near Bath with her husband and two children, surrounded by books and inspiration.
