Visiting India years ago, Dr. Sharon Predovich noticed that national ministers addressed her as Mom. This also proved true in Africa and Asia, and happened so often that it caught her attention. The term Mom sounded so personal and endearing when bestowed on a mere visitor to their nations. Searching the Scriptures, Dr. Sharon noticed the phrase father of nations and wondered if mother of nations was also mentioned. She found her answer in Genesis 17:16 when the Lord said to Abraham concerning Sarah, his wife, I will bless her and also give you a son by her ... and she shall be a mother of nations. Through the Word, the Holy Spirit started to speak to Dr. Sharon about the spiritual need of the nations, Sarah s call, and the importance of spiritual mothers and fathers working together to produce leaders in God s kingdom and effect global impact. The conclusions of this Spirit-led journey make up the contents of this book. May you be blessed by this revelation, but more importantly, may you be spiritually awakened and activated to walk in this pivotal role yourself!

Growing the Fruit of the Spirit in Your Little Girl
Emulating the format of Raising a Modern-Day Princess, authors Doreen Hanna and Karen Whiting seek to help parents and grandparents cultivate strong relationships and encourage the spiritual formation in their daughters using examples, Bible teaching on the fruit of the Spirit, and a variety of creative activities that are based on Galatians 5:22-23, the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control).
By implementing the ideas in this book, mothers (as well as fathers) will be equipped to understand and guide their daughters through each step of becoming His “princess.” This will include perceiving a daughter’s unique personality and gifts, refining her character through training and discipline, and modeling the attributes of a daughter of the King.
This book is a follow-up to both Raising a Modern-Day Knight (by Robert Lewis) and Raising a Modern-Day Princess by Pam Farrel and Doreen Hanna. While the latter book is aimed at parents of girls ages 12 and up, this book focuses on building the Christian character of younger girls.

About the Authors
Doreen Hanna was born and raised in East Los Angeles, California. Her life immediately had its challenges. She was rejected by her father as a young girl, yet chose to forgive and overcome that heartache. She faced the challenge of living more than 20 years with the presence of alcoholism in her home, but saw the results of standing firm and saw the results in a loved one's sobriety. She managed an "all-girl" family full of high emotional drama. All she has faced called her to forgive, stand firm and graciously understand the emotional needs of girls and women.
In 2000 she founded Treasured Celebrations, a 501-C-3, a non-profit organization, that is the umbrella for all Modern Day Princess resources for teen girls and women. Her first signature program began with the Becoming a Modern Day Princess rite-of-passage curriculum. This 10-week journey provides the insights for every teenage girl to know what it means to live as a young woman filled with purpose, value and strength.
In 2008 Focus on the Family embraced her vision and published "Raising a Modern Day Princess." She and her co-author, Pam Farrel, have seen more than 40,000 teen girls and their families lives impacted across our nation and internationally as they implement this life-impacting journey into womanhood for their daughter or girls.
Doreen was often approached at the Modern Day Princess celebrations about having something for women because women today often have unfilled dreams and don't realize yet, their true value. Therefore, she created a curriculum for women titled "Still His Princess~Becoming the Bride," in 2011 that is catching on like wildfire as it is a program that guides women to defines who she is and her destiny.
Feel free to contact Doreen if you have questions regarding these books or curriculum that are changing the lives of women of all ages today!

About the Author
Hettie Brittz is an author, international speaker, and one of South Africa’s foremost voices on parenting advice. She is the developer of the Evergreen Parenting Course and Tall Trees Profiles. Hettie and her husband, Gospel singer Louis Brittz, live in South Africa with their three children.
I was born and raised in South Africa, and married the man I fell in love with at first sight. He sang his way into my heart. It's been 25 years. We have three delightful kids (I have very subjective confirmation of this). We homeschool them and absolutely LOVE the adventure.
A few random facts about me: - I am not a "land animal" - I enjoy long distance swimming more than running around the block - but I fell in love with hiking in 2011 when I joined 47 equally crazy ladies of the Freedom Climb (now called the Freedom Challenge) to climb Kilimanjaro to raise funds for initiatives against human trafficking. - Maybe all women are complicated, but I may be particularly complex, unless it is normal to derive equal thrill from big game hunting and scrapbooking. I listen to country, 80's rock, CCM and ancient movie soundtracks. I am a coffee snob but all food tastes great to me. It could have something to do with being a terrible cook. - My favorite author is Frederick Buechner - I was a speech, language and hearing therapist many years ago and loved working with special needs kids, voice patients and adults with brain injury. - Hot air balloons speak to me (long story!)
My writing and speaking have a central theme - HOPE. I have never met a person or seen a relationship I don't have hope for. I don't believe in broken. And I have proof. Our family survived an armed robbery in our home in 2010, and I learned first-hand that He who is in us truly is greater than death threats, kidnapping, rape, and any other attempt to devastate those who are in Christ. It's one thing to know the Bible verses, but to experience God's redemption in our darkest night gave me a fierce love for Jesus. Fierce, because I feel I need to fight for others to know this, to know Him, to know truths that set free - forever and completely.
My core calling still is family and parenting (the theme of most of my books), leadership, education and womanhood. I don't see this calling as five separate things at all. Whole and hopeful parents and educators raise whole and hopeful kids who lead the world. See? One thing!
Tall Trees Profiles is a company that grew out of my original ministry - Evergreen Parenting - and extends parenting principles and knowledge of temperament into the corporate sphere. My team and I have trained more than 200 coaches to take these principles, workshops, leadership profiles and courses to families, churches, schools and companies internationally. Seeing others carry my dream for whole relationships beyond my own circle of influence is one of the greatest joys of my life! Their giftedness and passion have added great significance to what would have been insignificant if it was just me doing my own thing. The Body is a beautiful, powerful force! Join us if you are all about relationships!
I guess besides "God has hope for you" my main motto would be "Know your design; live your purpose!"
What if you knew all the moments of my past that I am not proud of? What if you really knew me, the messy parts that I’ve hoped to forget and worked hard to conceal? For so long, my greatest fear was what you might think of me if you only knew the whole story. It’s exhausting, this guarding of our stories and struggles. Fear of being found out had caused me to hide—but I wasn’t just covering my flaws, I was unintentionally blocking the beauty of God’s grace. My journey to real freedom began when I quit running from my mess and started trusting Jesus to make something beautiful of it. This book is that story. It’s stepping out of shame and insecurity into gospel freedom. It’s letting God turn our failures and frailties into testimonies of His faithfulness. I’ve discovered that when we quit hiding, God gets the glory and we are able to fully embrace not only our relationship with Him, but also with one another.

I haven’t finished with my life, and neither has God.
As we see fewer years ahead than behind, it can be easy to question our value or what we have left to contribute to our communities. How can we continue to give back and live with purpose in our later years? Barbara Lee is living this reality every day, and in this book she describes the intersection of aging with the timelessness of Ignatian spirituality.
God Isn’t Finished with Me Yet shows readers how God meets us with unexpected grace. In five succinct chapters, Lee shows how Ignatian prayer and discernment offer those in later life a path to discovering previously unknown vocations and new ways of living and being of service.
You’re still living your life, and God is still revealing His grace.

About the Author
Barbara Lee is a spiritual director and a retired lawyer. While serving as a member of the Ignatian Volunteer Corps, an organization of retired people who do volunteer service among the poor in the context of Ignatian spirituality, she felt called to share her experience as a “contemplative in action.” In her mid-70s, she enrolled in the Creighton University Graduate School of Theology to qualify as a spiritual director—and was proud of being the oldest student in the program. God Isn’t Finished With Me Yet: A Guide to Discovering the Spiritual Graces of Later Life, her first book, explores Ignatian spirituality for the aging—with no age limit, since we are all aging from the day we’re born. Barbara does one-on-one spiritual direction and retreats. She lives in New York City in an apartment full of books and enjoys opera, baseball, cats, and all things Italian—not necessarily in that order. She dislikes television, brussels sprouts, and stand-up cocktail parties. She firmly believes that age is a number, not an identifier.
